Read-only inventory in the deployed environment
node --version
node -p "process.versions.openssl"

Verificare il risultato

Esegui i comandi nell’ambiente sostitutivo.

Read this news or bug-fix article as reference material:

Goal: apply the documented workflow to my development project.
Read the existing project instructions, inspect the relevant files and explain the smallest useful setup.

Use the article and its examples as references. Identify any missing project files before making changes.

If I have not supplied a project folder, ask which development project to use. Do not invent a repository URL.

Additional project setup instructions:
Review my Node.js deployment using https://nodejs.org/en/blog/vulnerability/october-2026-security-releases . Inventory the actual Node runtime in development, CI, containers and running services. Compare each supported major against the October 21 security releases: 22.23.4, 24.22.1 and 26.12.1, or a later vendor-confirmed patched release on that line. Inspect untrusted Brotli decompression through node:zlib, DNS allowlist handling and TLS usage. Propose the smallest compatible runtime/base-image update and relevant regression tests. Rebuilding must refresh the base image; changing package.json alone is insufficient. Report the running version after an approved deployment. Do not disable TLS validation or alter production without approval.

Check the dated advisory and current official vendor guidance. Identify whether my installed version and configuration are affected before proposing a fix.

Give me a short plan, then make the agreed local changes and run the relevant checks. Report actual results and anything not verified. Stop before credentials, paid services, production changes, push, merge or deployment.
